Fire Engine
A fire engine is a specialized vehicle equipped with firefighting apparatus, hoses, water tanks, and other tools designed to quickly respond to and combat fires, often operated by fire departments to protect life and property.

A fire truck equipped with a ladder is a specialized emergency vehicle designed to respond to fires and rescue situations, featuring a tall extendable ladder that allows firefighters to reach elevated areas for firefighting, rescue operations, and personnel evacuation.

Crash Truck
An airport fire crash truck, also known as an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicle, is a specialized emergency response vehicle equipped with firefighting and rescue equipment, designed to swiftly respond to and mitigate aircraft emergencies, such as fires or crashes, at airports.

Swift Water Rescue
Swift Water Rescue is a specialized emergency response operation that involves the retrieval and assistance of individuals in fast-flowing water environments, such as rivers or floods, using specialized techniques and equipment to ensure the safety of both rescuers and victims.

Rescue Ambulance
A Rescue Ambulance is a specially equipped vehicle designed to transport individuals, particularly those in need of urgent medical attention, to healthcare facilities, often equipped with life-saving medical equipment and staffed by trained paramedics or emergency medical personnel.

Advanced Provider Unit
The Advanced Provider Units are equipped with a Firefighter/Paramedic and an Advanced Provider, offering mobile urgent care, assess 911 super-users for follow-up care, and provide on-scene medical clearance for mental health and intoxicated patients, streamlining the process and relieving pressure on local emergency rooms.

Tactical Emergency Medical Support Unit
The TEMS Unit is a group of experienced paramedics who work alongside law enforcement officers and are capable of responding into active shooter emergencies.
Deployment Criteria: TEMS personnel may deploy upon supervisor or LEO requests.

The HAZ-MAT / CBRNE Unit is designed to address chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) threats to the community and national security

Joint-Hazard Assessment Team
The Joint-Hazard Assessment Team (JHAT) is compromised of the LSPD, LSFD, and LSCDPH. The primary role of the JHAT is to coordinate response and facilitate multi-agency coordination of incidents that involve the use or potential use of chemical, biological, or radiological materials.
Deployment Criteria: Supervisor Request.

Counter Arson-Terrorism Section
The Arson Investigation Unit is a specialized division of POST certified personnel who combat fire related crime through arson prevention and investigation The goal of these arson investigations is to investigate any fire of suspicious nature, as well as fires that resulted in injury or death.
Deployment Criteria: Upon request and proactively during special events.

Urban Search and Rescue
Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) is specialized in multiple types of rescues such as: Extrication, High angle rescues, Confined Space Rescues, Technical rescues, Natural Disasters, Structural Collapses, and Search and Rescue Operations.

Air Operations
Air Operations helicopters and other aircraft are equipped for firefighting and emergency medical services, featuring capabilities such as water or fire retardant drops for firefighting and medical evacuation support for transporting patients swiftly to medical facilities. Drones and planes are included in this classification.

Lifeguards
The LSCoFD Lifeguards are trained professionals responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals at beaches, by monitoring water activities, responding to emergencies, and performing water rescues when necessary.
Deployment Criteria: AOP within Los Santos County that has a beach attached to it.

The Public Information Office is responsible for managing communication between the department and the public, ensuring transparency and timely dissemination of information.

SanFire Prevention
SanFire Prevention law enforcement officers are tasked with enforcing fire prevention laws and regulations in San Andreas, working to mitigate wildfire risks through monitoring and enforcing compliance with fire safety measures, investigating fire incidents, and educating the public on fire prevention practices.
Deployment Criteria: Must be in LE / AOP be in Jurisdiction & Minimum 3 Basic Patrol & Fire Marshal Permission
