104.1 FIREARMS
Firearms are never to be carried by on-duty EMS personnel
Firearms shall not be brought into any protected building, including, but not limited to: Fire Stations, Medical Centers or Clinics, Hospitals, etc
If a firearm is concealed or open carried whilst travelling to or from work, the firearm must be left in a secured container outside of the aforementioned protected building.
104.2 PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
Personnel shall, at all times whilst on-duty, carry the following items on their person unless otherwise stated:
Radio
Pen and Pencil
Notepad
Issued Credentials
Flashlight (optional)
Disposable Surgical Gloves*
Forward Facing EMS/FD Branded Baseball Cap (optional)
Stethoscope*
Personnel may don the following items of clothing during climate weather, or as the scene requires them:
EMS/FD Branded Rescue Helmet*
High-visibility Vest
EMS/FD Branded High-visibility Jacket
EMS/FD Branded Fleece
Black or Navy Blue Thermal Hat
Black Wool/Fleece Gloves
Black "MEDIC" Branded Ballistic Vests
*Note: May don any color variants.
At certain times in the year, personnel may don faction branded event clothing for the duration of the event. These include LSFD and MRSA.

104.3 VEHICLE EQUIPMENT
All vehicles, with the exception of supervisor fly-cars, shall be issued with the following equipment:
First Aid Kit
Jump Bag
Bag Valve Mask
Cervical Collar
Stretcher
Fire Extinguisher
Backboard / Spinal Board
Automated External Defibrillator
