704 Trash Fires/Other small fires

704.1 Garbage Firefighting

For garbage fires, a typical response would include an engine or lightforce dependent on the size of the fire and what is burning.

Crews will use hand lines to put out the fire.

NOTE

Note: SCBA shall not be worn on garbage fires as it is not needed. Post-fire, crews can hook up to a hydrant to replenish their tank.
