502.1 Ventilation Tools
Portable fans - Used for clearing out smokes/fumes or gases from a room or building.
Gas monitors - Used for detecting noxious fumes or gases inside of a room or a building.
K-12 Saw - Used for cutting holes in different materials or locks. Usually can be used to cut in roofs.
502.2 Extrication tools
Hydraulic spreaders - Used for spreading thick metal parts apart.
Hydraulic Cutters - Used for cutting thick metal parts.
Sawzall - Battery powered saw with a blade that can cut car windows, metal and plastic.
Tool box - Set of standard tools.
Wood blocks - Also known as cribbing, used for stabilizing objects or vehicles. Can also be used as a walking path on quick sand.
Rescue Jacks - Also used for stabilizing objects or vehicles.
Hyrdaulic rams - Used for lifting heavy objects, example: Lifting a car dash.
Airbags - Used for lifting or stabilizing objects or vehicles.
Tools such as: Halligans, axes, sledge hammers, pike poles and ladders - Can be used in ventiliation, ripping walls apart, reaching elevated roofs or places.
502.3 Rescue tools
Litter Basket Tripod - Used as an anchor point for the litter basket.
Litter Basket - Used to lift patients during rope rescues.
Generator - Gas powered generator used for powering different equipment.
Chainsaw - Used for cutting trees, wooden objects or even holes in roofs.
Concrete drills - Can go through parts of concrete or even break concrete.
Chains, Rope and Rope acessories - Rope bags and a lot of rope used for different operations such as vertical resuces, high rise rescues etc.
Confined space cameras - Used along with the concrete drill to look through rubble.
Air carts - Used to supply oxygen and communication for people who may be trapped in a confined space or a place hard to reach.
Capstan winch - A winch that plugs directly into the truck.
