106: Activity Requirements

All department members are expected to achieve 1 hour of service per month unless exempted through role or by command. To fulfill this requirement, there must be at least 4 players, including yourself, participating in active roleplay.

Additionally, Probationary Firefighters who join after the 20th of a given month are exempt from activity requirements for that month. Lastly, members who are on an active LOA are exempt from the policy in that month. Members with LOAs removed prior to the 15th of a given month are subject to the activity requirement.

Probationary Firefighters are required to complete training within 8-weeks of their hire date or face routine termination.

The Activity requirement may be fulfilled through active duty as Fire/EMS Personnel, including Private EMS. This does not include activity as coroner or hospital staff.

Any member that fails to fulfil their activity requirement will be given a warning for the first offense. The second instance will see the individual removed from the department.

Activity Warnings are expunged following 3-Months of Consecutive Activity.

The purpose of the activity requirement is to ensure that all department personnel are actively using and refreshing their training through practical applications. Any department member who is not completing their activity requirement and has already been issued a warning will be considered to be "out of training".
